Welcome to South West Cheshire Explorer Scouts

Its for anyone between the age of 14 to 18 who want to take part in challenging and interesting activities. If you want, you can have a say as to what these activities are during your unit forum sessions. District Forums are held so that your unit can also have a input as to what District Events are available.

Each unit holds regular weekly meetings. They also run weekend/week camps and activities such as sailing, canoeing, abseiling, climbing, mountain biking, caving etc. Use the links to the units to find out exactly what activities are being put on.

At present there are five units in the district for you to choose from; three of which hold meetings every week. There is one based at Bunbury and three in Crewe - Fiennes, Wilson and Drake. The Young Leaders unit meets from time to time to allow Explorer Scouts to undertake the Young Leaders training programme
